I must have been born loving horses, and especially black and white paints.  In doing some background into the history of our family, who are of British descent, it certainly makes sense that with the Gypsy wagons they used to use, I have discovered a hidden part of my equine psyche.

Confirmed "a natural born healer", I knew at an early age I had a connection with horses, and have affirmed the horse as my personal totem animal.  My sun sign is Taurus, an earthy, grounded person with above average sensitivity.  I can attest this is where my empathic/psychic abilities come from.

​

Having trained multiple personal canine companions, and never having met a horse I would not ride in my younger years, I knew I had a special way of communicating and reading them.  I was able to achieve much success especially with problem horses.

​

During my former years, I started Riley Coyote Ranch, as the basis for my breeding program of black & white paints.  Having numerous stallions, exceptional broodmares, and an overall wonderful experience watching the miracles of nature unfold before me, it felt like it was a life-long commitment.

​

I became a member of AQHA, NFQHA, APHA, PtHA, ABRA, AHRA, AMRA, NRHA, ApHC, and lastly AWS.  My most accredited accomplishment is a 2 year old that won the green horse division at the Oregon Horse Center's Trail Championships while in the continued training and care of Joe Potter.  We also took this horse to many other wins together.

My first exposure to "natural" horsemanship was a clinic by Curt Pate.  I later became absorbed in how John Lyons could get Zip to perform and mind to perfection even after he became blind.  I devoted more hours than I can count, in learning how this all worked.

​

My fascination then took me to Marty Marten, and I learned how to write personalized 12 step training programs for the horses I had in training.  Additionally, my innate attention to detail and analytical attributes were great tools for my success.

​

A client once took a horse I started for her to a Parelli clinic and they used her gelding for their demonstrations.  She commented to me that they claimed her horse was the best mannered horse they had ever worked with, and he excelled at their program.

​

My biggest mentor, and the person who I believe I have strived to be the most like is Klaus Hempfling.  Yes, there are great trainers, great horses, horses with world titles, and until you experience his work, I feel you are not getting the total experience and working with horses in a more natural state.  In one of his books, "the horse seeks me", it sums it all up - and who wouldn't want to be partnered up with a horse who believes in you because their soul sees who you are, not how you train them.

Starting working with horses at an early age of 6 years, it has been a learning experience like none other, and I hope to continue down this path, especially now that I have opened up the channels for holistic healing.

​

When I do bodywork, or even before and sometimes after, I personally can identify with your or your horses' energy blockages because I get them.  The energy session also translates to other animals and people in the close proximity.  If you or your animals need bodywork, or you just have a personal interest, please contact me.

It's my life path, and I feel so blessed to give to the universe in this special way.  By trade, I am a part-time bookkeeper, and it just doesn't seem to amount to much when it takes my time away from my natural expertise.

Currently booking 4-6 hands-on participants, for a 30 minute private session each, with a basic sack lunch provided.  You will be introduced to this amazing modality as a group, then each participant will be able to touch and learn for themselves using a dedicated horse. Designated facility TBD.  Cost is $75/per participant .  Spectators $35 if you don't feel comfortable working with horses just yet. Limited space, no more than 10 total.

We can also combine other therapeutic services when hosted at your ranch.  This works well with equine assisted interventions, day camp/spas, retreats, spirit walks, etc.
